For domain investors
Built for people who check thousands of names, not three.
Why cache lag matters more to investors
For someone naming one company, a few hours of data lag is invisible. For someone working a drop list, it is the whole game — the names worth having are decided in the minutes around a deletion, and a cached answer is worthless there.
DotSeeka queries the registry at the moment you search. There is no snapshot interval and no reseller inventory in the way.
Unknown is a feature, not a gap
Registries rate-limit. A tool that hides this by guessing available produces a list that looks better and performs worse. Working from a list where a percentage of the ‘available’ rows are actually registered means wasted registration attempts and wasted budget.
A DotSeeka result set separates the three states explicitly, so unknown rows can be re-queried rather than acted on.
Working a large list
| Need | How |
|---|---|
| Check a drop list | Paste up to 2,000 names per search |
| Compare one stem across endings | name.* expands automatically |
| Hand a shortlist to a partner | Excel export, colour-coded by status |
| Feed another tool | CSV, or available-only CSV |
| Re-check the uncertain rows | Filter to Unknown, re-run just those |
Coverage beyond .com
Availability data comes from the IANA RDAP bootstrap, which covers well over a thousand endings — including the ccTLDs and newer gTLDs where the remaining short names actually are. A checker limited to .com is limited to the most picked-over namespace in existence.
